11:40am: Well, after a week or so of talks back and forth, and after much thought, my GF and I decided on going with the house over the apartment. It’s sad to see us “burn the bridge” with our apartment complex that we had learned to love, but in the end we had to make the best business decision possible.
For the next couple of hours, we will be off looking at furniture and decorations for the house (all, of course, paid for with insurance money). In the meantime, here are some pictures of the new house. Let me know what you guys think.

Congrats on the new house. Although it’s a little more expensive than your last place, after a month or two I’m sure you won’t even notice the difference money wise.

Congrats man! I took to having my own house a year ago and have not looked back as I’m sure you won’t. Good to see your housing situation is starting to stabilize man.
