4:28am: It’s been a while since I can say this, but I had my first losing session in what seems like forever tonight. Truth be told, I could probably put in about another hour or two and turn it into a winning session, but I’m just going to let this one go and chalk it up as a loss.
It’s tough to overcome an 0-3 start, however that’s exactly what I did as I won the next three to even up at 3-3. Unfortunately, I ran into some misfortune when I was rivered twice on two 5 outers, and turned once on a 2 outer.
This just goes to show you that no one is immune to the brutality of poker, as I stated in my article below (which was written BEFORE the session, by the way). That being said, I finished the session 3-5, and look forward to a better day tomorrow.
