4:13pm: Annie Duke opened up recently to PokerNews.com regarding the whole UB/AP ordeal, and also the direction of online poker in general. Whether or not you support UB/AP, the one thing that cannot be disputed is that the company running these two sites has made some mistakes. Are you ready to forgive? Annie Duke is, and here’s why:
Annie Duke seems to have a lot going for her. She’s smart and attractive and maybe the most recognizable female poker player around. I think she could probably get an endorsement deal with just about any poker room out there.
So why stay with UB. The only answer I can think of is I guess everyone has a price, and they’ve met hers with a boatload of money. Pretty bad if you ask me.
As for the thorough investigation done, let’s face the cheating would still be going on if it weren’t for the guy’s on the poker forums at 2p2 and Pocket 5s.
Very true. Some of those guys should have went into criminal justice.
