1:38pm: I can feel pretty confident that it’s going to be years before this happens to me again, if at all. Today, I flopped a straight flush, and amazingly by the river had a 7 card straight flush. Unfortunately, I was only able to get a screen shot of the turn, but I did save the hand history, which is posted below.

12:16pm: I really hate it when people use their blogs to vent. It’s one thing if nobody reads the blog but yourself, but when other people read it, they don’t want to log in to hear somebody bitch and complain about their misfortunes in poker. That being said, I’m going to vent for the first time, lol.

The last week or so has been very hard for me, because I’ve been at a complete stand still, profit-wise. I’m putting myself into a position to win every single match, however I’d venture to say that 80% of the time I’ve gotten it in with the best hand in the last 3-4 days, I’ve lost. I’ve only played 6 games today (3-3), and I’ve already taken 5-6 bad beats. If my hands hold up, I’m 6-0, but since they didn’t I’m basically breaking even and losing out to the rake.

I’d like to take a break, but I don’t think that will do any good. I’m not playing bad as I’ve been ahead almost every time the money went in today. It’s just discouraging because when you play two at a time, and you win the first game 3 out of 3 times, you have 3 chances to go up a game and all 3 times something just plain out STUPID happened. To be honest with you, right now with EPASSPORTE going under, and me not being able to put together any kind of productive session the last 4 days, I’m really not liking poker too much right now. I win nearly 61% of my heads up matches, yet I’ve just been alternating wins and losses for what seems like forever. I’m not sure when my graph is going to start to take the upward turn, but it’s long overdue.

*EDIT*, 1:34pm: Finally I was able to get in +, as for the fourth straight time, I won the first of two matches. However, this time I actually won the second match as seemingly miraculously I got two pocket pairs to hold up vs. over cards in a row. I’m now 5-3 on the day.

9:01am: It’s been completely verified by numerous different sources that there is indeed truth to everything that EPASSPORTE is pulling out of the U.S poker market. By almost all accounts, EPASSPORTE will continue to provide it’s merchant services to non-poker related markets and cut ties with online poker rooms.

Numerous sites are looking into alternative options already, including Cake Poker, who was the first room to officially break the story on EPASSPORTE. Nearly almost every online poker room sent out emails on Saturday notifying their players of this news, which was in contrast to news that was delivered on Friday that it was “technical difficulties” that prevented players from using EPASSPORTE to withdraw and deposit.
