12:32am: Just wanted to make a quick update to let you guys know that from this point forward, I will be updating the “Daily Random Video Clip” section with daily funny/shocking videos. While the number may vary, you can definitely count on at least one a day being there. I will try to archive them and keep them in the database, so that if you miss an update, you can always go back and catch up. So if you’re taking a break from your session and you need a quick laugh, or if you’re just stopping by for that sole purpose, feel free to check it out.

I’m also thinking about adding a daily “nOOd” picture section. However, I have to look into the legal scope of things before I can say for sure if it will happen. 10:41pm: First off, Happy Easter to everyone, regardless if you’re Catholic/Christian or not. With that being said, I’m a little worn out from playing football with my nephew today (usual Holiday family gathering BS), so I’m not sure how much I’m going to play tonight. I think I’m going to put in some more volume on Cake because I would like to clear that bonus. I have three months to do it, which shouldn’t be a problem, but what WILL be a problem is the fact that you cannot re-size the windows, so I’m reduced to playing one game at a time.

Normally, I could just play on my 24″ monitor in the office, however my router has been dropping the wi-fi connection. Therefore, it’s not the smartest decision to start playing poker while connected to it. This whole weekend I’ve basically been camped out in front of my Sharp Aquos, in my video game rocker, with a rigged up laptop stand (mini ironing board wedged between the coffee table and the wall), with an ethernet cable running from the modem itself to the laptop. I miss the office so much, my chair is so cozy and conducive to poker, but what are you gonna do? I guess I’ll make the run to best buy tomorrow for a new router. When I first bought the one that I currently use now, I was torn between it and a Buffalo router. I guess I made the wrong choice. Oh well, you live and you learn.

Anyways, I’m 5-1 on the night, things are looking up. However, I did have the misfortune of running into aces when I had jacks preflop. That’s pretty much never fun in a heads up sit n go, no matter how you cut it. The guy kept making it 200 to go preflop, so I limped with the jacks, and then sure enough he makes it 200, and I re-pop all in, he calls and flips over AA. Isn’t it crazy how that works sometimes? You think to yourself, “man, he can’t have a hand EVERY time, can he?”

I HATE when people say this to me, but sometimes it’s true….

*EDIT*, 1:20am: I’ve decided to reward myself with the rest of the night off, since it’s been a while since I’ve started out this good. It’s a good practice to reward yourself with good play. Normally, people say “play more when you’re playing well” but I pretty much always play the same, so instead I decide to reward myself sometimes with just cashing out my winnings, and calling it a night.
